Aggravated VHSE Certificate Holders on the path of agitation

VHSE Terminator

NEWBIES
NEWBIES
Today accidentally I came across a statement compiled by the Secretary, Vocational Higher Secondary Certificate Holders Association pointing questions to Vocational Teachers and instructors in Agriculture in an aggressive mode.

Since I personally feel it is true, I wish to bring here the main points as pointed by him/her

1. As per his/her statement, during admission time high level canvassing has been done by the teachers to apply for VHSE (Agriculture) course by fake commitment that students who completed VHSE (Agriculture) course will be absorbed as Agriculture Assistant in state Agriculture Department through KPSC and once they complete 5 years of service as Agriculture Assistant in the department will be promoted as Agricultural Officers

2. As per the above guidance, most of the students opt and took admission for VHSE (Agriculture) course with a view to secure posting as Agricultural Assistants

3. But to be unfortunate and sad, they were not able to understand the mis-motive behind such commitments. Now as per him/her, the teachers guided students in to this trap with the objective of securing their job and not as a guide of students for a secure job

4. There was no KPSC notification for the post after 2009 and 90% students those who are passed out prior to 2009, lost their confidence in getting job as Agriculture Assistant and has found their own means of employment either in private field that too in entirely different field

5. According to him/her, each year the pass out Agriculture students from VHSE is almost 4500 and after 2009, the total Agriculture certificate holders who don’t get a chance even to apply for Agriculture Assistant post has mounted up to 36000. These 36000 certificate holders are waiting to compete for the present 2 vacancies

6. He/she even complaints that despite of protecting their own students, they are protecting the job security of Diploma and Degree holders

7. If ever VHSE certificate is meant for self employment purpose, during admission time kindly avoid canvassing students in the sweet name of Govt. employment and after meeting their objectives advising them to search for self employment

8. The secretary concludes the letter by asking the teachers and Instructors in agriculture to point out the effort taken by them to get their own students permanently employed in any organization, and to give the statistics of finding successful employment to VHSE certificate holders through Job fairs
